Canterbury weeds are persistent. The technique is simple but thorough: loosen the soil, take the whole plant including the root system, and remove the debris so it cannot re-establish. It is slower than waving a sprayer around, but the results last far longer, and there is no chemical drift onto the vege patch or the neighbour's roses.

Weed pulling is often the missing piece in a full section tidy. A freshly mown lawn still looks scruffy if the beds are full of weeds, while weeded beds beside a tidy lawn make the whole property feel cared for. That is why many customers combine weed pulling with a mow or a trim in a single visit — the lawn, the edges and the beds all handled at once, with every scrap of green waste loaded onto the trailer and taken away.

Overgrown sections benefit most dramatically of all. When a garden has been left for a season or more, weeds can completely bury the plants underneath.
